Notable Transactions
Despite the trying financial times and harsh lending restrictions imposed upon the American business landscape today, CalFirst Leasing continues to provide lease financing to mid and large sized companies for their capital equipment acquisition needs. Here is a sampling of some of our recent notable transactions:
- April 2010:
- CalFirst Leasing approved and began the funding of a $14.5 million transaction
for a national beverage wholesale dealer. The project included automated warehouse equipment, technology, and the soft costs associated with the expansion of their West Coast
warehouse facility.
- December 2009:
- CalFirst Leasing funded a $580,000 lease financing of an enterprise management software system, including related implementation costs, for a regional precision component company in Illinois.
- March 2009:
- CalFirst Leasing funded a lease financing transaction of $1.8 million for various pieces of capital equipment for a 35 year old company that has been a recognized leader in providing formulation development, contract manufacturing, and packing services to the pharmaceutical industry.
- January 2009:
- CalFirst Leasing closed and funded the lease financing of new office equipment in the amount of $2.95 million. The customer, a publicly traded, national office supply company, had their project funded 11 days after their original proposal was signed.
- December 2008:
- CalFirst Leasing funded a $4.9 million lease financing transaction for a national online shoe retailer. The leased property consisted of a new KIVA Mobile Fulfillment System located at the company's 830,000 square foot, state-of-the-art fulfillment center.
- July 2008:
- CalFirst Leasing closed and funded a $5 million financing deal for the acquisition
of new furniture and other equipment for a AAA Five Diamond resort, located on a 17 acre stretch
of oceanfront property on the southernmost barrier of the United States.
